Switch off the DAC Universal. Connect the supplied serial data cable with the 9-pin connector (male) to the appropriate socket on the DAC. Now insert the plug at the other end of the cable (9-pin/female) into the appropriate socket on the back of the diosLOG Box. Hand-tighten the locking screws (red handles) on both plugs.
Insert the supplied plug-in power adapter into an AC outlet and the coaxial connector of the low-voltage-cable into the appropriate socket on the back of the data logger box. The lower green LED lights up after about ten seconds.
The USB flash drive can be inserted into the USB socket on the front side of the diosLOG Box as soon as the green LED is lighted. Ensure the flash drive is correct positioned. In the case of a correct position, the stickers of databox and flash drive are on the same side.
The diosLOG Box flash drive has to be read after every operation if the desinfector/sterilizer is not equipped with a visual process assessment feature in the form of a display or indicator light that show critical process parameters or errors immediately.
We recommend reading out the data of the flash drive and assessing the process after every use of the sterilizer/desinfector!
The upper red LED lights up soon after the USB flash drive is connected to the diosLOG box. The device is ready to receive and store dates.
Check the permanent lighted upper red LED before every process!
If this upper red LED doesn't light permanent, please check all cable connections, the power supply and the position of the USB flash drive in the diosLOG Box.
Now start one or several work cycles on the DAC Universal. The red LED briefly flashes during each instance of data recording.
Proceed as listed in the following to transfer the saved data from the USB flash drive to the computer:
